Day Camps
6/3-6/7 Where the Wild Things Are Camp (Ages: 6-8) $150-"Let the wild rumpus start!" Using play, crafts, live animal encounters, and games campers escape to the natural world to have amazing adventures each day. During this camp, campers get a chance to tell their own “WILD” story of where the wild things are
6/17-6/21 Nature Heroes Camp (Ages: 8-10) $150- Using Marvel and DC comic book personas, campers develop skills and knowledge to help protect some of Georgia’s amazing wildlife. Some of the activities in superhero training include archery, wildlife identification, fishing, and canoeing. By the end of the camp, campers will utilize those skills to become the next “CEWC Earth Warriors” and earn special hero gear!
Overnight Camps
6/10-6/14 Gone Fishin’ Camp (ages 11-13) $325- Campers will spend the week learning about fishing and fisheries management. Activities include mastering fishing techniques, identifying what goes into a tackle box, exploring fish biology, and of course, a lot of fishing! Campers will develop the skills needed to "catch the big one!"
6/24 –6/28 Outdoor Adventure Team Challenge Camp (ages 11-13) $325 - Team Challenge Camp is packed full of outdoor pursuits such as hiking, canoeing, fire building, and wilderness survival that culminate into challenges throughout the week to earn the bragging rights of Team Challenge Champions!
7/8-7/11 Shooting Sports Camp (ages 12-16) $350 - Campers will receive gun safety and hands-on instruction from DNR Professionals in Archery, Shotgun, and Rifle shooting.
7/8-7/12 Out Huntin' Camp (ages 12-16) $350- Interested in becoming a hunter but don’t know how to get started? Spend the week learning about Georgia’s game animals and how to successfully pursue them. You will learn basic wildlife biology and behavior, hunter safety practices, hunting methods, and firearms handling, as well as game processing and preparation for the table. By week’s end, participants will have completed Georgia’s hunter safety certification requirements
