(Lanier County) Will Temporarily Close May 30

Alapaha River Boaters and Anglers:

(Updated Message - Closure Date Has Changed) The Boat Ramp on U.S. 129/221 on the Alapaha River (Lanier County) will temporarily close on May 30, 2023, according to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources' Wildlife Resources Division. The ramp is due to be replaced. Construction will take approximately eight weeks.

Anglers and boaters wishing to access the Alapaha River during this time may do so by using the boat ramp at SR 168 (Berrien County).
