The perfect Mother’s Day can be different celebrations for different people. For some, it’s a boisterous gathering of many generations. For others, it’s a quiet date with Mother Nature. Our sites offer dozens of ideas for a memorable Mother’s Day weekend. Pack a picnic to enjoy at pretty Watson Mill Bridge State Park, or rent a large group shelter for an all-day affair. Let Mom sip morning coffee from the quiet of her own cabin porch, or take a trip back in time at Dahlonega Gold Museum. Annual passes make great gifts to last all year.
