The Georgia Department of Natural Resources recently held its inaugural Career Academy for high schoolers. More than 20 students learned about the agency’s mission, careers options, and what it takes to manage natural and cultural resources of the largest state east of the Mississippi River. Students shadowed staff from State Parks and Historic Sites, Wildlife Resources, Coastal Resources and Law Enforcement divisions.
