The 2022 Industrial Stormwater General Permit (IGP), GAR050000, has been reissued with an effective date of Wednesday, June 1, 2022. The Permit is posted on the Georgia Environmental Protection Division, Watershed Protection Branch Permit and Public Comments Clearinghouse: https://epd.georgia.gov/forms-permits/watershed-protection-branch-forms-permits/watershed-protection-branch-permit-and.

Currently, Georgia EPD is actively working on finalizing the electronic 2022 Notice of Intent (NOI), No Exposure Exclusion (NEE) and Notice of Termination (NOT) forms in the Georgia EPD Online System (GEOS). Your patience is appreciated as the forms are updated to reflect the 2022 Industrial Stormwater General Permit.

Permittees will be notified through GovDelivery as soon as the forms are live and available in GEOS. Facilities covered under the 2017 IGP will have 30 days to submit a renewal NOI/NEE to continue coverage under the 2022 IGP. Please note that renewals must be submitted using the 2022 NOI and NEE forms.

If you have questions or concerns, please contact the Industrial Stormwater Unit at industrial.sw@dnr.ga.gov. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding during the permit reissuance.
