In recent days, both the Morgan County Boat Ramp and the Big Hammock Shooting Range have had to implement a temporary closure due to heavy rain and resulting flooding. But, how would you know?

If the Georgia DNR Wildlife Resources Division location (Wildlife Management Area, Public Fishing Area, Boat Ramp or Shooting Range) you wish to visit is in an area that may have recently had and/or is currently experiencing severe weather conditions (lots of rain, flooding, below zero temps with ice, or damaging winds), you can check the Closures Page at https://georgiawildlife.com/closures to find out if the location is currently open or closed.
