SCAM ALERT: Bogus Fishing Licenses

DNR customers should beware of an online fishing license scam offering fake Georgia fishing licenses. This fictious site will allow you to enter your personal information to receive a fishing license through the mail, but it never asks for payment. Georgia DNR has begun the process of having the website shut down. The valid web address to purchase a hunting or fishing license is always https://www.gooutdoorsgeorgia.com. Please notify Georgia DNR Law Enforcement’s Investigative Unit at 770-918-6408 if you or anyone you know has provided personal information on this site. Full story.
