Striped Bass Tagging Study on Lake Hartwell: To determine how striped bass in Lake Hartwell respond to harsh summertime conditions, DNR biologists are surgically-implanting small radio transmitters into 40 striped bass and will track their movements for the next 12 to 36 months.
Trout Stockings in 2019: Last year, more than one million trout were stocked in Georgia. This year, that number should increase! In fact, the 2019 trout stocking effort is already underway.
