Save on Father’s Day Golf Outings
Two Georgia State Park golf courses are offering deals for Dads. At Arrowhead Pointe near Elberton, dads pay $45 this Father's Day for golf, lunch, range balls and more. At Highland Walk near Royston, dads play for just the cart fee from June 12 through June 18. Call each course for details and tee times. Be sure to ask about overnight packages featuring cabins and campsites.
Summer Specials from The Lakes at Laura S. Walker, Waycross
Government Appreciation Day Tuesdays in June and July, after noon Any federal, state, county or city employee with a government ID will play 18 holes of golf with cart for just the $17 cart fee.
Wednesday Afternoon Four-Player Special June 7 – August 30, after 1 p.m. Foursomes play for the price of the $17 cart fee only, per person.

Georgia Junior Golf Tour Summer Series
Begins June 3-4 at Arrowhead Pointe at Richard B. Russell State Park, Elberton
Young golfers ages 7 to 18 can compete in this 36-hole golf event recognized by Junior Golf Scoreboard. This course was voted one of the best public courses in Georgia and was ranked #6 in USA by Golf Digest. $90 ages 10 and younger, siblings and school teams with two or more. $115 ages 11 to 18. Junior Golf Camps in June and July
June 5-9 Highland Walk at Victoria Bryant State Park, Royston This camp for young golfers stresses swing, short game and putting fundamentals, along with an on course rules demonstration. A 9-hole tournament with lunch culminates the week. Cost is $150 with additional siblings $110. Call 706-45-6770 to register.
