DEADLINE COMING SEPT. 1: APPLY FOR GEORGIA WMA HOG QUOTA HUNTS NOW
Looking to participate in a hog quota hunt on a WMA this fall? Be sure to get online soon! An online quota application must be received before midnight September 1, according to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources’ Wildlife Resources Division.
While all hog hunts on WMAs do not include a chance to hunt hogs with dogs, there are several areas that allow it. Areas such as Warwoman, Coopers Creek and Chattahoochee WMAs have increased the number of quota participants, and there is a new hunt available at Swallow Creek WMA. Make sure to look under the "Dog Feral Hog" category when applying in the quota system.
