Sand and Limited Quantities of Sandbags Available Today and Tomorrow for Residents Impacted by the Ogeechee River Flooding

Chatham County, GA (August 9, 2024) - Chatham County will be providing sand and limited quantities of filled sandbags today and tomorrow at Border Equipment of Savannah (5905 Ogeechee Rd, Savannah, GA 31419) for residents impacted by the Ogeechee River flooding. Availability will be today, Friday, August 9, 2024, from 4 PM - 7 PM and Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 8 AM - 7 PM.
Limited quantities of filled sandbags will be available and is on a first come, first served basis. Sand and bags will also be available. Residents will need to bring their own shovel.
