Closure of Buckhalter Road
For Immediate Release
Chatham County, GA (June 26, 2024) - Buckhalter Road (see map below for location) M/P- S 503.89 DOT# 641163D will close Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 8:00am and reopen on/around Saturday, June 29, 2024, by noon. This is a total closure meaning no traffic will be allowed across the track until the work is complete. Signage will be in place marking detour routes. Motorists should anticipate extended travel times and delays. Please avoid this closure area if at all possible.
