Florida Power & Light (FPL) Investment in South Olive Elementary School
“Earlier this week, we celebrated an exciting investment in the students and future leaders of South Olive Elementary School. Thank you to Florida Power & Light (FPL) for this generous grant, and thank you to the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County and the School District of Palm Beach County for their partnership and shared commitment to education.
Efforts like this demonstrate what is possible when public, private, and community partners come together to support the next generation.
STEM resources, like those supported through this grant, help introduce students to the ideas and skills that will shape the world they grow up in.
In the City of West Palm Beach, we believe every child deserves access to the tools and support they need to succeed. Because when we invest in our students today, we are building the leaders, innovators, and problem-solvers who will shape the West Palm Beach of tomorrow — a City that continues to grow as a community of opportunity for all.”
— Mayor Keith A. James
