17th Annual Southeast Florida Climate Leadership Summit
"It was an honor to host the 17th Annual Southeast Florida Climate Leadership Summit right here in West Palm Beach. We welcomed leaders, innovators, and advocates from various sectors across the region, who understand that securing our region’s future is not just a policy priority, but a responsibility that we all share. Each of these individuals is doing their part in making the Southeast Florida Regional Climate Change Compact one of the strongest and most respected climate collaboratives in the nation.
During the Summit, we heard from Housing experts who discussed the unique challenges our region faces, providing critical insights into the intersection of housing and the climate. And we discussed the transportation and infrastructure investments that we must prioritize now, not later.
Here in West Palm Beach, we have embraced a deep-rooted belief in community-driven solutions, investing in climate-ready infrastructure and planning growth in a way that is both sustainable and resilient.
Leading with optimism grounded in action, we are shaping solutions that protect homes, safeguard our economy, and ensure that the region our children and grandchildren inherit is stronger than the one we care for today." — Mayor Keith A. James
