Calling all Palm Beach County Artists
Professional Palm Beach County artists are invited to submit their work for the opportunity to take their art beyond the studio and into the public realm. The ArtLife Committee will select five (5) local artists to create new site-specific and theme-based temporary public artworks. The Commons: 5 Artists 5 Spaces application is a two-step process with the first deadline on August 5, 2024. Learn more here.

Plastic Free July® is a global movement that helps millions of people be part of the solution to plastic pollution – so we can have cleaner streets, waterways, beautiful communities, and healthier bodies. It's about learning to make small changes. The City of West Palm Beach Office of Sustainability is offering FREE customized Plastic Free Challenge Kits to City of West Palm Beach residents and a FREE film screening that is open to everyone! Registration is required. Plastic Free Challenge Kits are available to City of West Palm Beach residents and businesses.

Free Family Weekend Meal Kits at the Palm Beach County Library
The Palm Beach County Library system, sponsored by the Palm Beach County Food Bank and Pan-Florida Challenge, is offering free family weekend meals at different branches. Each child is eligible for one free weekend meal kit every Friday while supplies last. For youth 18 and younger, visit the Main Library Branch and the Jupiter Branch. For youth 17 years and younger, visit the following branches: Belle Glade, Clarence E. Anthony, and Loula V. York. Learn more here.
