The city of Treasure Island has transitioned its solid waste services to Waste Pro. Waste Pro, a familiar partner in residential recycling, has begun handling trash and yard waste collections starting this week.
Here’s what you need to know about the updated services:
Trash Collections
- Your collection days will remain the same (either Monday/Thursday or Tuesday/Friday).
Yard Waste
- Yard waste will now be collected on the same two days as your trash service.
- Use your grey cart for both trash and yard waste.
- Yard waste that doesn’t fit in your grey cart may be placed curbside if it is bagged or bundled and two cubic yards or less. Loose material will not be collected.
Recycling
- Recycling will be collected every Wednesday.
- Use your blue cart for recycling only. Please do not place plastic bags, trash, yard waste, or food waste in the recycling cart.
Special Pickups (Bulk, White Goods, etc.)
- Call 727-452-5278 to schedule.
- Each residence is eligible for four free curbside bulk collections per year.
