The City of Treasure Island invites residents and businesses to a Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, December 18, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The event will be held on the 5th floor of City Hall, 10451 Gulf Blvd. It aims to answer community questions, promote transparency, and clarify post-hurricane permitting processes and Substantial Damage determinations.

This town hall is designed to inform the community about where we are in the disaster recovery process and to address general questions regarding permits and Substantial Damage determinations. The city recognizes the community’s concerns and seeks to offer clear explanations about these processes. However, please note that specific questions related to individual permits will not be addressed during this meeting.

To ensure a productive session, we are asking that questions be submitted in advance to TownHall@mytreasureisland.org no later than 9 a.m. on Wednesday, December 18. These questions will be researched, and answers will be provided during the town hall. To ensure we can present the most accurate information for the community, additional questions will not be taken from the audience; however, those questions can be submitted to the email address listed above.

Due to fire code regulations and the size of the venue, attendance will be limited to 125 participants. For those unable to attend in person, the town hall will be recorded and uploaded to the City of Treasure Island’s official YouTube channel for public viewing.

• Opening/Introduction
• Presentation by Community Development Staff: The presentation will cover the permitting process, Substantial Damage determinations, and an update on the City’s progress in issuing permits.
• Answering Pre-Submitted Questions

To maintain a professional and respectful environment, attendees are requested to follow appropriate decorum. Shouting out questions or interrupting individuals who are speaking will not be permitted. While the city acknowledges the challenges and frustrations caused by post-hurricane recovery, this town hall is hosted with the intent to provide clear and constructive information to assist the community.
