The city's debris management contractors are nearing completion of their first pass through the city. The second and final pass will begin on Saturday, Nov. 9.
Residents must place ALL storm debris at the curb (right-of-way) and separate it properly by this Friday, Nov. 8. This will be the last scheduled collection by debris contractors, so please ensure all debris is out and ready for pickup.
Please remember:
- Do NOT use black trash bags.
- Do NOT place household chemicals at the curb.
- Ensure your debris piles are separated according to guidelines.
For detailed instructions on debris separation, visit MyTreasureIsland.com/StormDebrisRemoval. There you will also find other information including a Household Chemical Collection event happening in Treasure Island on Nov. 16.

Need a storm debris pickup on your commercial property? Here’s what you need to know:
- For commercial debris, please make sure the debris is at the curb (right-of-way). Find a map of the city’s right-of-ways here: MyTreasureIsland.com/StormDebrisRemoval.
- If debris pickup is needed beyond the right-of-way, an authorized signatory must complete a right-of-entry form and submit it to public works by Nov. 9. Find that form at MyTreasureIsland.com/StormDebrisRemoval under the "Commercial Debris Collection" section of the webpage.
- For communities with private roads, a special right-of-entry form is required. To obtain this form or if you have any questions, please email PublicWorks@mytreasureisland.org.
There will be only one pass of pickup, so make sure all debris is out at the curb by Nov. 8th and separated according to FEMA guidelines, which can be found at MyTreasureIsalnd.com/StormDebrisRemoval.
