Debris management contractors collecting RESIDENTIAL DEBRIS are nearing completion of their first pass around the city. Their second and last pass will begin on Saturday, Nov. 9. Residents are asked to have ALL their debris at the curb (right-of-way) and seperated by this time.

Branches, leaves, logs, plants.
Appliances
Refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers, water heaters, etc.
DO NOT Place debris in black trash bags. Contractors will NOT collect these bags because they do not know what is inside.
NO HOUSEHOLD CHEMICALS
DO NOT put construction materials in trash bins or dumpsters
DO NOT Place debris near trees, poles, hydrants, utility boxes, or other structures
DO NOT Place debris in alleys, sidewalks, or block roadways
Debris will only be collected within the city's right-of-way. The debris management contractor will not go onto your property to remove debris.
Household Chemicals Disposal
Residents and businesses are also reminded that they must dispose of household chemicals themselves. They can do this by taking chemicals to one of the county’s drop-off sites or one of their household chemical collection events. Pinellas County Solid Waste will host a household chemical collection event in Treasure Island. This event aims to provide barrier island residents with a convenient way to safely dispose of unwanted household chemicals in the aftermath of hurricanes Helene and Milton. It will occur on Saturday, Nov. 16, from 9 a.m. to noon at the old Treasure Island Fire/Police Department Parking Lot, 180 108th Ave.
