Current Forecast
The city debris management contractors continue collecting debris around the island. Crews are working as fast as they can, anticipating another storm heading our way. More than 2,800 cubic yards of debris have been collected so far.
 
Public works crews continue to collect debris around city facilities and continue waste pickup.
 
Sunset Beach:
Sand removal/restoration efforts continue. Crews are making great progress in getting West Gulf Blvd. cleared so the neighborhood can be opened to vehicular traffic.
 
Golf cart shuttle service will continue today, Oct. 6, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Milton is slowly organizing with winds now at 50 mph. The track continues to show a landfall Wednesday along the Florida West Coast. Storm Surge Watches and Hurricane Watches are expected from the National Hurricane Center later today, Oct. 6.
