Final Reminder to Apply for Central Florida Water Initiative
Cost-Share Funding for Water Conservation Projects

The deadline to apply for Central Florida Water Initiative (CFWI) cost-share funding for water conservation projects is March 27, 2020 at 5 p.m.

In 2019, Governor DeSantis and the Florida Legislature approved statewide funding to develop water resource and water supply projects. Applications are being accepted on behalf of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection for funding consideration for water conservation projects within the CFWI Planning Area, which includes all of Orange, Osceola, Seminole, and Polk counties and southern Lake County.

Eligible projects for consideration should be ready to implement water conservation technology programs that provide the most immediate and cost-effective benefits. Projects may be eligible for up to 50 percent cost-share reimbursement. The application process opened February 17, 2020 and closes March 27, 2020 at 5 p.m. To apply, click here
