Splash! School Grants Now Open!
Don't miss this exciting opportunity to make an extra-large Splash! this school year as you bring freshwater education to your students! Grants are awarded at up to $3,000 per school. Public and charter school educators of grades K-12 are eligible to apply. Applications are due August 31.
Here are just a few of the awesome things you can do with a Splash! grant to support freshwater education:
- Visit a local environmental education center
- Create a water conserving garden with your students
- Bring a water education program to your school
- Purchase materials to support projects or labs in and out of the classroom
- Conduct a school wide awareness campaign on water resource issues

What: An exciting, interactive workshop all about water science! Open to formal and non-formal educators. Attendees will receive an official Project WET certification and a Project WET 2.0 Guide upon completion of the workshop. Activities are interdisciplinary and correlated to education standards.
