The parade will begin Saturday, Nov. 11 at 10 a.m. at Osprey Avenue/Main Street in downtown and will move westward on Main Street.
This year’s parade will include all the favorites -- from marching bands to antique military vehicles and more! Keep an eye on the front of the parade, where two local World War II veterans will be honored for their courage, bravery and sacrifice.
The parade will make its way to Chaplain J.D. Hammel Park, at the corner of Gulfstream Avenue and Main Street, where a ceremony will be held at approximately 11 a.m. The keynote address will be given by Carlos Moreira, First Sergeant with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve and Director of Student Engagement with the University of South Florida.

With 40-45 units in the lineup, this year's parade is sure to be the best yet!
Interested in being in the parade? Contact Dan Kennedy at 941-812-5406.
Please note: Downtown is expected to be busier than usual, with the parade and Sarasota Farmers Market running concurrently, so please be patient. As wide gaps open in the parade, our SPD officers will escort pedestrians safely across Main Street.
Hope to see you there!
