Data Call Overview
The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR) is providing notice that, as a result of the passage of HB 7065, codified as section 627.7152(12), F.S., insurers are required to file the Assignment of Benefits (AOB) Experience data call by January 30, 2023.
The annual AOB Experience Data Call collects information related to each personal and commercial residential property claim paid in the prior calendar year under an assignment agreement. For this data call, insurers must provide information related to each personal and commercial residential property claim paid in Florida between January 1, 2022 and December 31, 2022.
This data call must be completed by insurers licensed in Florida for the following lines of business:
- Allied Lines;
- Commercial Multi-Peril;
- Earthquake;
- Farmowners Multi-Peril;
- Homeowners Multi-Peril;
- Industrial Extended Coverage;
- Industrial Fire;
- Mobile Homeowners Multi-Peril;
- Mobile Homeowners Physical Damage Only; and
- Property (Fire)
A "No Data" option may only be used by insurers with no claims paid under an assignment agreement for calendar year 2022 for the lines of business listed above.
