NOTICE TO INDUSTRY:
2022 Catastrophe Reporting Form (CRF)
The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR) has posted the 2022 Catastrophe Reporting Form (CRF) for collecting claims and other relevant information from insurance companies following a natural disaster causing catastrophic damage in the state of Florida.
The OIR is providing the 2022 CRF to companies in preparation for the Atlantic Hurricane Season, which begins June 1, 2022.

If a natural disaster causes catastrophic damage in the state of Florida, all insurers and other regulated entities will be required to provide claims and other relevant information using the CRF.
The 2022 CRF template is unchanged from the 2021 CRF, except for updated definitions for Reopened Claims and Supplemental Claims within the “Instructions” tab, and an additional row titled “Supplemental Claims” within the “Survey” tab of the Enhanced CRF.
