Looking to buy a new TV, athletic shoes or researching top-recommended vehicles? Consumer Reports online can help — and it's now available for free with your library card! Before pulling out your credit card, make sure you’re making the right purchasing decision for you. Consumer Reports provides trusted ratings and reviews, recommendations and buying advice for thousands of products and services. You can also read current and past issues of Consumer Reports magazine, including the annual Auto Issue.

It's another great online resource available to you with your library card. Don’t have one? Apply for an eCard at ecard.mdpls.org and get immediate access to our online library.  Already have a library card?  Let your friends know so they don't miss out!

September 22 is National Voter Registration Day

Are you ready to vote in November?  September 22 is National Voter Registration Day — a great time to register to vote for the upcoming general election on November 3. Already registered, but recently moved or changed your name? It’s also a good time to update your voter information. The deadline to register to vote for the general election is October 5.

You can pick up an application and register to vote at any library location or register online at http://www.registertovoteflorida.gov. Need  Wi-Fi or computer access?  Visit any library location to get connected.
