Meet a different famous woman from history each week and learn how she helped change the world! Ask questions, take pictures and watch history come alive at the library. All ages.

Holds Just Got a Lot Easier!

Great news for OverDrive and Libby users – hold redelivery is now live! This feature gives you more control over your holds. When a hold becomes available, you'll receive notification that you have three days to claim it. If you're not quite ready to start enjoying that eBook or audiobook you may choose to have it redelivered at a later time or cancel your hold.

2020 Census

Get Ready to be Counted!

Starting March 12, households across the nation will begin receiving an invitation to complete the 2020 Census. Did you know that the federal government uses census data to determine how much funding our community receives for critical services such as hospitals, schools, roads and more?

For the first time, the census can be completed online. This helpful video provides a step-by-step tutorial on how to fill out the online questionnaire.

MDPLS is here to help ensure that everyone in Miami-Dade County is counted.  Computers, laptops and free Wi-Fi are available to everyone for use at all MDPLS locations.
