Join artist Xavier Cortada for an engaging presentation that will motivate you into plan(T)ing mangrove propagules in your own yard and encourage you to learn more about sea level rise and begin planning for the future of our community. Seedlings will be given away at the end of this presentation.

Silkscreen Prints from the
Permanent Art Collection of the
Miami-Dade Public Library System

The Gitxsan are an indigenous people of British Columbia, Canada, who live along with Skeena River. The word Gitxsan means "people of the River of Mist."

Gitxsan First Nation features a beautiful collection of original silkscreen prints by Gitxsan artists Walter Harris, Vernon Stephens, Art "Myanxa" Sterritt, Neil J. Sterritt, Ken M. Mowatt, and Earl Muldoe.

Take a musical journey through the Sephardic world, from Andalusia to the Balkans, with Susana Behar as she performs songs from her album TAPIZ in Ladino (Judeo-Spanish), the language of Sephardic Jews. Behar will be accompanied by guitarist Michel Gonzalez and Iranian setarist, singer and percussionist Reza Filsoofi. All ages.
