FPUA In The Community Updates

This past fiscal year, FPUA employees came together through department giving and collected 1,810 lbs. of nonperishable food to share with our neighbors in Fort Pierce.
As a team, we look forward to this project each year because it’s a meaningful way to live out our core values — showing what it truly means to be community proud.
We’re always looking for ways to get involved and give back — follow us on Facebook to see what’s happening next!
October Friday Fest Kicks Off Public Utilities Week
From October 5–11, 2025, communities across the country will celebrate Public Power Week, recognizing the vital role of more than 2,000 community-owned utilities.
Here in Fort Pierce, FPUA is proud to join the celebration by highlighting the dedicated work of all five of our utilities—Electric, Water, Natural Gas, Wastewater, and Fiber Internet.
October’s Friday Fest in downtown Fort Pierce is the perfect place to see it in action! Stop by our booths to explore interactive displays, check out our fleet vehicles up close, and meet representatives from each utility service ready to show how FPUA keeps our community flowing, connected, and thriving.
Marina Square, Downtown Fort Pierce

FPUA Sponsors | Magnificent Miniature Masterpieces
FPUA is proud to sponsor the Fort Pierce Art Club’s 2025 Magnificent Miniature Masterpieces Fundraiser, where artists of all ages create 3”x3” works of art to help fund free art programs that enrich and inspire our community.
For more than 70 years, the Art Club has nurtured creativity in Fort Pierce through education, exhibitions, and opportunities for residents of all ages, and FPUA is proud to support a cause that fosters cultural growth and strengthens community connections.
Completed artwork is due by October 22, and the final exhibit and auction will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, in the mezzanine of the historic 111 Orange Avenue Building in downtown Fort Pierce.
43rd Annual Boys & Girls Clubs of SLC Chili Cook-off
FPUA is proud to once again sponsor Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County’s Chili Cook-Off, supporting programs that reach far beyond this great event to provide local youth with mentorship, and opportunities to thrive.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County have empowered generations of children and teens to reach their full potential, and FPUA is proud to support a cause that invests in the future of our community.
Join us Saturday, October 18, at Clover Park, where we’ll be serving up our best recipe at the FPUA booth and competing with local businesses and agencies for the top chili award. Swing by to taste our chili and cheer on bright futures for youth in our community!
