Short-term Fishing Licenses Available Only through Tax Collectors and Agents
Effective November 7, 2025, non-resident 3-day and 7-day recreational fishing licenses are no longer available online; however, customers may still purchase these at more than 400 in-person license agent locations statewide.
Additionally, non-resident annual saltwater license purchases will automatically add the snook and spiny lobster permits (if not already active), to better align license and permit effective dates and make it easier for visitors to remain fully compliant with Florida fishing regulations. With everything needed for saltwater fishing, except the no cost State Reef Fish Angler registration, anglers can enjoy seamless, year-long fishing opportunities across the state.
