FWC seeking public feedback on draft documents for Florida reef gecko

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is seeking input on management documents related to the Florida reef gecko (Sphaerodactylus notatus notatus) listing determination. These documents include the Species Action Plan (SAP) and Species Conservation Measures and Permitting Guidelines (Guidelines). The SAP and Guidelines direct conservation for the species. How to comment
Written comments will be accepted between April 21, 2025 and June 06, 2025. Please email comments to Imperiled@MyFWC.com. If you would like to comment, but are unable to do so in the timeframe, or if you prefer an alternate format in which to comment, please contact Imperiled@MyFWC.com.
Webinars during the public comment period
Key information on the SAP and Guidelines will be presented at two public webinars. The webinars also offer an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback on the documents. Each webinar will offer the same information. Participation in the webinar will require access to a computer or phone for audio-only access. A copy of the webinar slides will be published online for interested parties who are unable to attend.
