Good afternoon,
This is a follow-up to the previous email sent on February 4th, 2022 regarding the Next Generation MFMP Vendor Information Portal upgrade. The Next Generation MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) Vendor Information Portal (VIP) is going live on March 28, 2022!
Scheduled Downtime in Preparation for Next Generation VIP
VIP and MFMP Buyer applications to support the implementation of Next Generation VIP activities:
- MFMP Buyer will not be accessible beginning Thursday, March 24, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. ET through 11:59 p.m. ET.
- VIP will not be accessible beginning midnight (12 a.m., ET) on Friday, March 25, 2022. The Next Generation VIP application will then be available beginning at 6:00 a.m. ET on Monday, March 28, 2022.
VIP Migration Information
The following user accounts will be migrated to Next Generation VIP:
- Active vendors
- Active agency customers with VIP accounts; and
- Agency customers and eligible users in the Vendor Bid System (VBS) with a password that expired less than two years ago.
How will this impact Agency Users?
The Vendor Information Portal will have a new look and will not require log in credentials to search for vendors. Also, as previously mentioned, this will directly impact the Tallahassee Purchasing Office only as it relates to the consolidation of the Vendor Bid System and the Vendor Information Portal. The Tallahassee Purchasing Office has attended trainings for this consolidation and is prepared for the Go Live date.
How will this impact Vendors?
- Consolidation of the Vendor Bid System and VIP means vendors may search for, view, and favorite advertisements directly in Next Gen VIP.
- Consolidation of the Office of Supplier Diversity Certified Business Enterprise (CBE) designation process into VIP allows vendors to upload documentation to seek and renew OSD certification and view and download certificates.
- A modernized vendor dashboard provides visibility into personalized activity, including revenue from state agencies and transaction fee payments and statuses in one spot.
- In-app notifications for system notices, transaction fee compliance, and CBE status updates.
- Ability to export Consolidated Billing Invoices for accounts receivable and transaction fee payment processing.
Training for Vendors
Live training will be offered by the MFMP Team on March 29, 2022 and March 31, 2022. Link provided: VIP Cloud Transformation / Next Generation MyFloridaMarketPlace / MFMP Projects / MyFloridaMarketPlace / State Purchasing / Business Operations / Florida Department of Management Services - DMS
