Public invited to discuss Orange Lake management activities at upcoming meeting

 

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) will host a public meeting and hydrilla management discussion regarding Orange Lake on Thursday, Oct. 18, from 6:30 - 8:45 p.m. at the Grand Lake RV Resort, 18545 NW 45th Avenue Road, Citra. This meeting facility is handicap accessible.

 

FWC staff will provide brief updates on lake conditions, recent management activities, and habitat management actions planned for the next nine months. Following the updates, FWC staff would like to hear stakeholders’ opinions and concerns related to management operations on Orange Lake, including hydrilla management.
