Photo, video, and interview opportunity
Manatee release in Fort Lauderdale
When: Wednesday, Oct. 14 at 11:30 a.m.
Where: George English Park at 1101 Bayview Dr., Fort Lauderdale, FL. Broward County.
Why: Photo, video, and interview opportunities are available.
Background: An FWC rescue team and various Fort Lauderdale emergency responders rescued the manatee from a water well station off the north bank of the New River. The rescue occurred May 12. FWC, and Fort Lauderdale Fire and Rescue officials will assist in the release.
