Dry Season Reclaimed Water Surcharge Begins February 1
The City of Dunedin’s reclaimed water surcharge will go into effect February 1 and run through June 30. Reclaimed water customers will be charged an additional $2.00 for every 1,000 gallons over the assigned amount for their property size during the dry season.
Annual inspections are also underway for reclaimed water customers. The City’s Water Division staff tests each reclaimed water irrigation system and drinking water plumbing to ensure they remain separate and that no cross-connection has occurred. Customers can expect their yearly Reclaimed Water Report Card to be delivered at the time of their inspection. You can also request to receive the information earlier by calling the Water Division at 727-298-3100.

Holiday Cleanup: How to Properly Dispose of Live Christmas Trees
Residents who need to dispose of a live Christmas tree may do so by placing it curbside for collection before 7 a.m. in the same location where trash, recycling and yard waste are normally collected.
Trees should not be placed inside rolling carts or leaned against electrical poles, water meters or other utility equipment. Instead, place trees neatly at the curb after removing all decorations, including lights, ornaments, garland, tree stands and plastic tree disposal bags. Christmas tree accessories should not be placed in recycling bins.
Residents of apartments and condominiums should check with their property managers for proper disposal instructions
