In just the past month, four bicyclists in Pinellas County have been critically injured or killed in crashes with vehicles. Deputies say in every case, the riders failed to stop at a red light or stop sign. Watch this message for crucial, life-saving reminders before your next ride.

Construction Underway to Repair Marina Seawall
Construction to repair the north seawall at the Dunedin Marina is now underway. The City Commission awarded the project to BDI Marine in July and work began on October 13. Repairs to the east seawall are expected to begin in November.
The parking area and drive aisle next to Edgewater Park will be closed for the duration of the project. Access to the docks will remain open, although there may be temporary restrictions during construction. The project is expected to be completed in early 2026. The boat ramp will remain closed until further noticed.

Dunedin Hosts Blue Jays Watch Party at TD Ballpark
Fans are once again invited to come together and cheer on the Toronto Blue Jays as they take on the Los Angeles Dodgers in the World Series. A Game 6 watch party will be held on Friday, October 31 at TD Ballpark, where fans can view the game on the big screen in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere.
Both stadium and lawn (outfield) seating will be available, so bring your chairs, blankets and Blue Jays spirit! Gates open at 7 p.m. with the game starting at 8 p.m. Admission is free, and food and beverages will be available for purchase. No tents, pets, coolers or outside alcohol will be permitted.
Fans can also show their team spirit by gearing up in style. Visit the Jays Shop at TD Ballpark, open Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Dunedin Downtown Market Returns to Pioneer Park
The Dunedin Downtown Market returns to Pioneer Park Saturday, November 1 and will continue to run Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. through the end of June.
Presented by Tampa Bay Markets, shoppers can browse fresh produce, meats, cheeses, breads, honey, and baked goods, along with handcrafted soaps, candles, plants, and unique local finds. Enjoy lunch bites, live music and the lively community atmosphere that makes this market a Dunedin favorite.

Families filled the streets to collect candy from local merchants, play carnival games and enjoy festive Halloween activities. The creative costumes and community spirit made it a night to remember!

Pumpkin Palooza Luncheon at the Hale Senior Activity Center
Celebrate the autumn season at the Pumpkin Palooza Luncheon on Wednesday, November 7, at 12 p.m. at the Hale Senior Activity Center. Guests will enjoy lunch sponsored by The Gables of Palm Harbor and a lively performance by the Hale Center Drum Circle.
The cost is $6 with a recreation card or $7 without. In the spirit of the season, the center is also hosting a food drive to benefit Dunedin Cares. Attendees are invited to bring a canned or nonperishable food item to donate.

Meet author Heather Sweeney at the Dunedin Public Library on Monday, November 3, at 6 p.m. as she discusses her new memoir Camouflage. The book explores themes of identity, resilience and transformation, offering readers an intimate glimpse into Sweeney’s journey.

Have you ever wondered what forensic scientists really do in the lab? Now’s your chance to find out. The Dunedin Public Library will host Forensic Lab Science: Behind the Scenes with the Experts on Tuesday, November 4, at 6 p.m.
This hands-on STEM workshop, led by the Pinellas County Forensic Laboratory, gives participants an inside look at how science helps solve crimes. Attendees will explore real-world forensic techniques through interactive activities and learn what a day in the life of a forensic expert is like.
