Setting the Record Straight on Food Truck Operations in Dunedin
The City of Dunedin wants to address recent misinformation regarding our food truck policies. The City has not banned food trucks from operating in Dunedin. The City of Dunedin supports local businesses, including food trucks, when they operate within our established guidelines. These regulations protect both business owners and our community.
The Facts:
- Food trucks have been permitted in Dunedin commercial areas since 2015. Nothing has changed.
- There are conditions associated with food trucks which were put in place in order to protect pedestrians and surrounding businesses
- Any business seeking to place a food truck on their property must apply for a permit.
