Earn your way to a fun and rewarding job this summer by becoming a certified lifeguard! Participants will learn life-sustaining skills both in water and on land. Certification includes Lifeguarding, CPR, and First-Aid.
Swim Test: Fri, April 4 5:00 pm at Highlander Pool
Classes: Sat/Sun, April 6, 12, 13, 19 9:00 am - 5:00 pm at Highlander Pool
Participants must pass the swim test and attend all classes. After successful completion, candidates have the opportunity to work at Highlander Pool & Kiwanis Sprayground.
$240 / person Register by April 3, either online in person at the Dunedin Community Center.

Get ready for a fun and memorable summer! Camp Dunedin offers full-day and half-day summer camps for ages 4-17 from June 2 through August 8.
Hurry to register, as spaces are filling up quickly! We still have spots available for Kids Camp, Tweens & Teens, Hammock, Archery, Baseball, Softball, Basketball, Golf, Kayak, Canoeing, and Orienteering.

Teen Leaders (age 13-16) will have the opportunity to work alongside our Camp Leaders and adult mentors during our summer camp programs.

"Singing in the Rain"

Prepare for an exciting afternoon filled with unforgettable melodies as the Dunedin Community Chorus presents their spring concert, "Singing in the Rain"! Directed by Fred Eschenfedler, with accompanist James Weaver, and featured guest soloist David Powers.
Free admission; donations welcome.

The City of Dunedin is hosting a free tree giveaway to celebrate Arbor Day and the city's recognition as a Tree City USA. Dunedin residents, with proof of residency, can receive two 3-gallon trees per household. First-come, first-served until the inventory of trees has been depleted. Visit the city’s online event calendar for a list of available trees and their descriptions. City staff will load the trees into your vehicle during pickup for a smooth and safe process.

This event is designed for ages 4-10. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Bring your flashlight and basket to this “egg-citing” family event! Enjoy games, crafts, a hot dog meal, and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Guests are encouraged to bring their own cameras to take photos with the Easter Bunny.
$15/child (includes hot dog meal) Free admission for adults (optional meal: $4)

Cool off, make a splash, and have fun this spring and summer! Highlander Pool will be reopening for the season on Monday, April 21, from 3-7:00 pm (weather permitting).
The hours of operation vary by day, so please check out our website for daily hours and admission requirements.

Our Aquatics staff is popping up around Dunedin talking to residents about water safety, handing out valuable information, and providing free life jackets to children, age 6 months & older (while supplies last).

Boys & Girls, Ages 7-15
Join this cooperative instructional league that includes several North Pinellas cities aimed at teaching new and experienced players the rules and skills of the game. The 6-game season will begin and end with a single-elimination tournament.
- Ages Divisions: 7-9, 10-12, 13-15 - Evaluations: Apr. 29 & May 1, 6-7:00 pm - Team Draft: Weds, May 7 - Practice: Thurs, starting May 15 - Games: Tues & Sat, June 7-Aug. 9

Don't miss "The Dunedin Three O'clock Big Band" dance and concert! Enjoy live music and dance to swing, ballads, waltzes, polkas and Latin music. The band is made up of some of the finest musicians in the Tampa Bay area and is led by Big Band Veteran, Greg Howard, who has led and performed with big bands and jazz combos throughout his musical career.

Join us for a fun beginner class where you'll create a beautiful beach-themed deco mesh wreath. Starting with a 14" base, your finished wreath will measure between 16-20". All materials are provided, so just bring your creativity and enthusiasm! (Photo of wreath is just an example; additional materials will be provided.)
