City Closures

Hurricane Home Repair Grants Available for Income Eligible Homeowners
The Hurricane Home Repair Program helps income eligible Dunedin homeowners impacted by Hurricanes Helene or Milton pay for storm repairs not covered by insurance or FEMA. Eligible residents may receive up to $30,000 in grant funding as reimbursement or direct payment for eligible home repairs. Funding is provided by Florida’s State Housing Initiatives Partnership Program (SHIP) and Pinellas County. Applications are now open.

ShredFest 2025
Join us for Shredfest on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Achieva Center Court.
Pinellas County residents can bring up to 5 boxes of paper for secure shredding (size: 12” W x 16” L x 10” H).
Important: 🔹 Residents only – no commercial shredding 🔹 No plastic bags, batteries, or electronics 🔹 Cardboard boxes will not be returned
Have more than 5 boxes? Consider donating to Achieva Credit Union’s fund supporting local schools.

Join us for an informational event about Golf Cart LSV (Low-Speed Vehicle) conversions! Learn about conversion requirements, insurance tips, and Florida laws from expert speakers. Broad on-site Golf Cart assessments will be available during the event. Light refreshments will be provided!

 MLK, Jr. Celebration – Unity Breakfast & March
Join the City of Dunedin in celebrating and honoring the life and legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. Enjoy a free breakfast on Saturday, January 18, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the MLK, Jr. Recreation Center. The event will feature keynote speakers, performances by the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church choir, and readings of the winning student essays on diversity. After breakfast, participate in a march from the MLK, Jr. Recreation Center to Pioneer Park in downtown Dunedin where you can enjoy live entertainment until noon.

 Hope Spot Festival Cleanup
Join Keep Pinellas Beautiful, Blue-Green Connections, and the City of Dunedin for a Downtown Cleanup!
Help protect our Florida Gulf Coast Hope Spot by keeping trash out of our waterways! Supplies provided—just bring closed-toe shoes and a reusable water bottle.
Stick around for the Hope Spot Festival until 2 p.m. Volunteers under 18 must be with an adult.
