2024 Operation Santa Schedule
We’re excited to announce that the 2024 Operation Santa schedule has arrived! And new this year – a live Santa Tracker. Santa and his elves will be riding through Dunedin neighborhoods on the Fire Truck to spread holiday cheer starting Saturday, December 7 at the Dunedin Golf Cart Parade.

Hurricane Debris Collection Completed
FEMA contractors have been collecting storm debris from Helene and Milton throughout Dunedin since October 15. The final collection for hurricane debris was completed this week – well ahead of the 90-day deadline required for full reimbursement to the City by FEMA for the collection costs, estimated to be more than $4 million.

Holiday Parade & Old Fashioned Christmas
Don’t miss Dunedin’s most wonderful time of the year! The annual “Holiday Parade & Old Fashioned Christmas” event will take place this Saturday, December 14, in downtown Dunedin. The parade starts at 4 p.m., followed by festivities until 9 p.m. Enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides, snow slides, kids’ crafts and games, face painting, live music in the park, ice skating, roasting marshmallows for s’mores, and of course, you'll have the chance to visit with Santa Claus!

MLK Jr. Essay Contest
There’s still time to enter the City of Dunedin’s MLK Jr. Essay Contest. Essays are due December 20, 2024.
Write about how you’re making a difference in your community, inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s words: “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: what are you doing for others?”
