Hot Dogs on Main
Hot Dogs on Main has been serving up authentic New York and Chicago-style Hot Dogs right here in Dunedin for the past 13 years. Owner Susan Annenos and her husband moved to Dunedin from Brooklyn, New York, in the early 2000s and started a hot dog shop which has become a community favorite for all ages.

Temporary Alt 19/Bayshore Boulevard Closure Begins July 15
A portion of Bayshore Boulevard/Alt 19 will be closed starting Monday, July 15, for approximately 2-3 weeks, weather permitting. The closure will be from San Salvador Drive to Spring Street due to continued improvements on Force Main #4. Please follow detour signs using Michigan Boulevard, Keene Road and Main Street. We apologize for any inconvenience and ask that you plan accordingly and expect traffic delays.

Dunedin Showcase Kids Theater: Oink
Come and enjoy 'Oink,' a hammy comedy children’s theater performance on July 13th and 14th at 3:00 pm, at the Dunedin Community Center. This pig-centric play-within-a-play is a spoof of 'The Three Little Pigs' and it's perfect for audiences of any age, featuring lots of Bavarian-style humor, piggy puns, and pretzels. Tickets are $8 each. This event is presented by Dunedin Parks & Recreation and Dunedin Showcase Theater.

July is Parks and Recreation Month
The National Recreation and Park Association, along with the City of Dunedin has designated July as National Park and Recreation Month. This month is dedicated to recognizing the significant roles that parks and recreation play in creating stronger, more vibrant, and resilient communities nationwide. The theme for this year is “Where You Belong,” emphasizing how parks and recreation foster a sense of belonging within our communities, by offering inclusive programs, essential services for people of all ages and abilities, and safe, accessible spaces for building connections. Let’s come together and celebrate the ways in which local parks and recreation fully embody the essence of belonging.

Adventures in Marine Life Lecture Series - Shark Biology and Conservation
Join us for our Marine Lecture Series with the Clearwater Marine Aquarium (CMA) on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at noon at Dunedin Public Library. CMA will be speaking on No Bones About It. This program focuses on invertebrates. Learn all about the Gulf of Mexico’s smaller inhabitants that call CMA home through this look at sea stars, crabs, and sea urchins.

This senior level position is responsible for managing the City of Dunedin’s social/digital media strategies. The Communications Manager collaborates with members of the Communications staff and City content creators to manage and align campaigns and digital, social and video messages aligned with the City’s brand and communications goals.
