Open Seats and Qualification
The City of Dunedin has announced that the next local election will be held on November 5, 2024. This election is a key opportunity for residents to vote on important community issues and elect local officials.

Water Fitness
Beginning June 3, Highlander Pool offers Shallow Water Wellness classes on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 9-10 a.m. Exercise with low to zero impact on the body to tone muscle, increase joint range of motion, reduce pain and stiffness, and get a great cardio workout. $4/day or $40/punch pass (includes 12 classes). Register online or in person at Highlander Pool or Dunedin Community Center.

Swim Lessons
Learning to swim is a lifesaving skill. Highlander Pool offers group swim lessons for infants and children throughout the summer. Times vary by age or swim level. The fee is $40 with a Rec Card or $60 without a card (per session). Register online at www.DunedinGov.com/registeronline or in person at Highlander Pool or Dunedin Community Center.

Citizens Academy is Back!
Dunedin Citizens Academy offers residents an “All-Access, Backstage, VIP Pass” to learn about their government and the services delivered. The nine week course is offered from August 20 - October 22, using hands-on activities and lectures to provide participants with insight on how local governments work and the functions of City departments. Applications are being accepted until June 14.

Dunedin Rain Barrel Workshop and Rain Barrel Giveaway
The City of Dunedin Solid Waste Division and UF IFAS are offering a free workshop on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Dunedin Community Garden. This workshop will teach participants how to save money and resources while protecting the coastal community by using a rain barrel. After the 1-hour session, each household will receive a free rain barrel and spigot.
