2024 Hurricane Expo
Join us on Tuesday, May 21 for the City of Dunedin Hurricane Expo and enter to win a generator from Home Depot. Tampa Bay resident Mike Boylan from Mike’s Weather Page and City and County experts will cover hurricane and storm preparations, emergency management, flood mitigation, resiliency plans, and more. Doors open at 5 p.m. for the expo, with a live presentation at 6 p.m. Additionally, free sandbags will be available for pickup during and after the Expo at City Hall.

Get a Boat Vessel Safety Check

Honor Flight Movie
Join us on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 2 p.m. for our Tuesday Movie screening of Honor Flight: One Last Mission. Prior to the documentary, members of our VFW Post will share their experiences with the Honor Flight program and discuss its ongoing support for veterans of more recent conflicts. SPC Zachary L. Shannon VFW Post #2550 has a special Memorial Day display at the library, dedicated to honoring veterans of World War II and the Vietnam War.

Citizens Academy is Back!
Dunedin Citizens Academy offers residents an “All-Access, Backstage, VIP Pass” to learn about their government and the services delivered. The nine week course is offered from August 20 - October 22, using hands-on activities and lectures to provide participants with insight on how local governments work and the functions of City departments. Applications are being accepted until June 14.

Road Closure -
Rotary Sprint Triathlon
On Sunday, May 19, 2024, Causeway Blvd from Gary Cir to Honeymoon Island State Park will be closed from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. for the Dunedin Rotary Triathlon. This sprint triathlon starts at Honeymoon Island State Park with a quarter-mile swim, then a 12-mile bike ride course down the Causeway to Gary Circle, and back to a 2-mile run inside the State Park. This event is presented by the Dunedin Rotary Club.
