State of the City
Approximately 200 people attended the City of Dunedin’s 2024 State of the City, Thursday evening February 29, at the new City Hall.
Mayor Julie Ward Bujalski and City Manager Jennifer K. Bramley highlighted 2023 initiatives and outlined the City’s strategic vision and areas of focus for the future aimed at enhancing the quality of life for residents, businesses and those who visit Dunedin.

New Online Permitting Portal
The City of Dunedin has recently introduced a comprehensive online permitting system named Enterprise Permitting & Licensing (EP&L) by Tyler Technologies. This system became operational on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, enabling online submission of permits through the Dunedin Citizen Self Service (CSS) Portal. The implementation of this new online permit system promises significant enhancements in the application and management processes for permits.

Marina Master Plan Survey
The City of Dunedin is developing a Master Plan for the Dunedin Marina and associated public facilities including the boat ramp, boardwalk, pier, and other amenities. The objective is to determine the future needs of the Marina and to guide decisions on upcoming capital improvement projects. The study will also assist in ensuring facilities are appropriately situated, sustainable, and resilient. Please note this study does not include Marina policies or fees.

Sprayground Reopens
Mark your calendar! The Kiwanis Sprayground reopens for the season this Saturday, March 9 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. (weather permitting). Hours of operation vary by day. Please visit www.DunedinGov.com/sprayground for daily hours and admission requirements including swim diapers for children 3 years & younger and those who are not potty-trained.

Local Author Showcase
The Local Author Showcase is scheduled for this Saturday, March 9, from 10 a.m. to noon. The Dunedin Public Library is collaborating with local authors to exhibit their works and facilitate public interaction. Attendees are encouraged to visit authors from Pinellas County, peruse their literary offerings, and discover engaging new reading material.
