9.6.2023 - Flood Impacted Neighborhoods Notice
The City of Dunedin is working with contractors to collect and dispose of water intrusion-related debris from last week’s Hurricane flooding. We will have more details and the collection schedule by the end of the week. Meanwhile – please check our website for information and updates at: www.dunedingov.com/hurricane or call 727-298-3215.
Residents who have been assessed for damage from flood intrusion will receive a notice on instructions on the collection and disposal of water intrusion-related debris.
If you did receive water intrusion from Hurricane Idalia and damages have not been reported to the City for assessment, please contact Community Development at 727-298-3210.
City staff, County staff and FEMA have been in these flooded neighborhoods conducting damage assessment during and after the storm. We are committed to assisting residents in removing debris as soon as the contractors are available.
Pinellas residents can now apply for FEMA Individual Assistance
The Federal Emergency Management Agency announced today that Pinellas County has been added to Florida's Major Disaster Declaration, which makes our community eligible for federal assistance, including Individual Assistance.
Those impacted by Hurricane Idalia can visit www.pinellas.gov/emergency-information for information and resources provided by Pinellas County. For federal assistance, visit www.fema.gov/disaster/4734 to apply for assistance and resources from FEMA.
Disaster assistance may include financial help for temporary lodging, basic home repairs and other disaster-caused expenses.
