Solid Waste & Recycling Updates
- Starting early Thursday morning 8/31/23 Solid Waste will resume curbside household trash and yard waste only (no recycling) collections beginning with Tuesday and Wednesday’s routes, then move through the week’s collections consecutively into the holiday weekend.
- Please place carts and yard debris curbside Wednesday night as we will try to complete both routes on Thursday. We ask for patience and understanding as our crews are working hard to complete these routes.
- On Friday 9/1/23, Thursday and Friday customers should place household trash and yard waste only (no recycling) at the curbside in City containers
- The recycling drop off sites will reopen on Saturday, September 2.

Water & Wastewater
- We ask everyone to conserve water and reduce the amount of flushing while the storm passes through our area. Please refrain from doing laundry and running dishwashers.
- Our lift stations are under strain, reducing the amount of flow will help them process their current volume.
County Notices
- Recommends all residents stay home and use caution until dangerous weather has passed and it is deemed safe to travel
- Currently under storm surge warning and flood watch
- The Sheriff's Office will reopen the barrier islands at 7 p.m. The Dunedin Causeway will reopen but the access points will remain closed until further notice.
City Facilities
- City offices and buildings will reopen with normal hours Thursday (8/31)
- The Dunedin Marina remains closed at this time.
