County Notices
- Mandatory Evacuation has been ordered for Zone A and Mobile Homes. More Information
- Pinellas to open 10 evacuation shelters on 8/29 at 7 a.m. More Information
- PSTA buses will run free on 8/29 to help residents get to shelters until tropical storm force winds reach the area.
- County information Center is open for preparedness questions and special needs registration from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Call 727-464-4333. Residents who are deaf or hard of hearing can contact via the online chat at bit.ly/PinellasChat
Trash & Recycling
- Trash and Recycling is suspended for routes Tuesday (8/29) and Wednesday (8/30)
- Pull carts and debris off the curb and secure them
- Drop-off site containers have been removed
- No yard waste will be collected at this time, do not put out yard waste!
City Facilities
- All City facilities are now closed to the public
- This includes all recreation centers, the library, all parks, and public restrooms
- All City facilities that do not have storm rated windows have been shuttered and secured
- Power and water has been shut down at the Marina. Those who have a vessel at the Marina are encouraged to remove or secure their vessel immediately
Emergency Operations
- The City Commission has declared a state of emergency
- Emergency Operations Center was activated 8/29 at 1 p.m.
- Fire Department Storm Units will be staffed to respond to wires down and other storm damage incidents 8/29 at 1 p.m until weather conditions deteriorate
- Emergency Operations & Public Works department will open roadways as quickly as possible after the storm conditions have passed
- City Leadership are continuing to monitor the storm with county emergency management teams

Roads & Stormwater Drains
- Road, ditches and stormwater systems have been cleaned of debris

Water & Wastewater
- We ask everyone to try and conserve water and reduce the amount of flushing while the storm passes through our area
- Water & Wastewater facilities have been shuttered and secured with supplies and equipment
- Both plants have staff to remain fully operational during the storm
Boards & Committees, Citizens Academy
- All Boards and Committee Meetings are cancelled through the end of the week
- Citizens Academy Class is cancelled this week
Construction in Dunedin
- Construction sites and companies with open permits have been notified to secure sites, equipment, and materials for the potential storm.

- Sandbag Distribution is now closed
