Feel safe and secure knowing your child is in good hands with our qualified Rec Leaders. This supervised program includes a variety of fun and engaging activities, daily snacks and homework time.

National Purple Heart Day is observed on August 7 each year and is a time for Americans to remember and honor the brave men and women who represented our country and were either wounded on the battlefield, or paid the ultimate sacrifice with their lives.
Join the City of Dunedin as we honor and pay tribute to all Veterans with special focus on Purple Heart recipients who have earned the military tribute by virtue of their bravery and sacrifice.

Friday, August 25 7 pm - 12 Midnight Early Bird: $20 (if registered by 8/24) Day of event: $25 (if space is available)
Tweens and teens (ages 9-14) can skate, scooter and play ‘til midnight testing their skills in a game of laser tag, on the extreme inflatables, or the games truck.
The fun also includes mini scooter and skate jams, music, giveaways, and a snack food buffet.
Presented by Dunedin Parks & Recreation and hosted by the Youth Advisory Committee.

Purple Heart Park 300 Main St, Dunedin FL
|
The Dunedin Parks & Recreation Department provides a special opportunity to pay tribute to a Purple Heart recipient through the Purple Heart Commemorative Brick Program. By completing this form and donating a $100, you can have a brick engraved to commemorate a Purple Heart recipient which will then become a part of the Walk of Honor at Purple Heart Park.

Learn the methods of fine art acrylic painting from Caroline Brown, founder of the Incredible Me Institute Inc. Art Club, who has inspired many beginners to pursue the art. All levels are welcome. Materials provided, except canvas. Please bring your own canvas: 16"x20" or less in size.
