Dunedin is proud to be have a Historic Designation Program. Our city has changed significantly since the first land deed was recorded in 1852. Recognizing and celebrating our historic homes and structures with an official designation help identify, preserve, and promote Dunedin’s unique character and charm. We talked to Deborah Bushnell about her experience owning two historic buildings.

Recreation Leaders Needed for Before & After School Programs
Join our amazing team! Dunedin Parks & Rec is hiring Recreation Leaders to work during our Before & After School Programs. This position offers a great part-time schedule for high school and college students. Work with VPK - 5th grade students at Dunedin Elementary, Garrison-Jones Elementary, or San Jose Elementary Schools. While previous experience is preferred, we are looking for applicants who can assume a leadership role, enjoy working with children, are enthusiastic, and have high energy. Must be 18+ years. $14/hour.

Mindfulness for Chronic Pain
Join us on Wednesday, August 9 at noon at the Dunedin Public Library for a guided session led by Marisela, a nurse and mindfulness instructor. Explore how mindfulness can help manage chronic pain, empowering you to respond effectively to discomfort and ease the body. This 1-hour session focuses on calming the mind and reducing pain flare-ups. Please note, this session won't include a yoga mat/floor portion. Registration required as space is limited.

Main Street Sidewalk Enhancement
You may have seen the big fencing on Main Street in front of the Casa Tina restaurant and wondered what might be happening.
This Phase 1 Main Street Sidewalk Enhancement initiative will improve walkability and overall aesthetics on the south section of Main Street from Douglas Avenue to the Pinellas Trail.
