Hometown USA
Join us for an unforgettable Independence Day celebration at TD Ballpark in Dunedin on Monday, July 3! Celebrate America and enjoy a live band, movie, kids games, face painting, and fireworks at TD Ballpark. Gates open at 7 p.m., with the Modern Measure Band playing from 7 p.m. to 9:15 p.m., and again after the fireworks show. The fireworks begin at approximately 9:15 p.m. (weather permitting). Admission is free, and concessions will be available. Limited free parking is offered at TD Ballpark, Dunedin Library, and Hale Senior Activity Center.

Dunedin Showcase Kids Theater: Shining Talent
Don't miss the enchanting children's theater performance, "Shining Talent," at Dunedin Community Center on July 8-9. The show starts at 3 p.m. (doors open at 2:30 p.m.). The first act features our talented young actors (ages 6-10) in "The Day Aliens Attacked Fairfield" directed by Mike Cote. The second act showcases our older performers (ages 11-17) in "Forgiven: A Fairytale" directed by Tammy Folstad. Secure your seat for only $8 by purchasing tickets in advance at Dunedin Community Center or at the door on show dates.

The City of Dunedin takes pride in celebrating this day and welcomes all to this joyous celebration. The Dunedin Parks & Recreation Department will continue our tradition on Monday, July 3 with our Hometown USA event at the T.D. Ballpark!

Road Closures - Kiwanis Midnight Run
Attention Drivers - Causeway Boulevard will be closed from Bayshore Boulevard (Alt. 19) to Honeymoon Island State Park. The road closure will begin Monday, July 3 at 10 p.m. and will conclude on Tuesday, July 4 at 3 a.m. There will be no access to the Causeway for the duration of the Kiwanis Midnight Run. Residents, please plan accordingly.

City Facilities Closed - July 4th
In celebration of Independence Day, all City facilities will be closed on July 4. Highlander Pool will be open Tuesday, July 4 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. (weather permitting), and the Sprayground will be open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. (weather permitting). The Stirling Park Driving Range will also be open from 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Curbside Solid Waste and Recycling pickup will be on the following schedule: Tuesday collections will take place one day later on Wednesday. No changes for Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday customers.
